ARTEC Menorca seeks to ensure that its website, https://artecmenorca.com/, is accessible and can be used by as many people as possible, regardless of their abilities, personal circumstances or the device used to access the information.
To this end, we apply, as far as reasonably possible, accessibility criteria and good practices based on the international recommendations of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and its Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI).
1. Accessibility measures
In the design and maintenance of the website, we seek to apply, among others, the following measures:
- clear and consistent content structure;
- appropriate use of headings and semantic elements;
- navigation through understandable and consistent menus;
- keyboard navigation where supported by the relevant functions;
- alternative text for images where necessary to understand their content;
- use of text and visual elements with adequate legibility;
- responsive design for different screen sizes and devices;
- clear identification of links and interactive elements;
- use of standardised web technologies and formats;
- progressive review of accessibility whenever changes are made to the website.
2. Compatibility with browsers and devices
The website is designed to adapt to different screen sizes and to work with current web browsers.
Certain features may vary depending on the browser, device, settings or assistive technologies used by the user.
We recommend using updated versions of web browsers to ensure a better browsing experience and improved security.
3. Text size and zoom
Most web browsers allow users to increase or decrease the size of content using their zoom functions.
Common shortcuts include:
- Windows:
Ctrl++to zoom in andCtrl+-to zoom out. - macOS:
⌘++to zoom in and⌘+-to zoom out. Ctrl+0or⌘+0will usually restore the default zoom level.
Users may also make use of the accessibility options available in their operating system, browser or device.
4. Keyboard navigation
Where supported by the structure and components used on the website, users may navigate through interactive elements using the Tab key and activate certain options using the keyboard.
ARTEC Menorca seeks to progressively review navigation elements in order to improve their use without the need for a mouse or other pointing device.
5. Content that may not be fully accessible
Despite the efforts made, some content or elements of the website may not be fully accessible.
This may affect, among others:
- certain documents or older content;
- images or complex graphic material;
- content or services provided by third parties;
- components, plugins or external functionalities over which ARTEC Menorca does not have full control.
Where reasonably possible, we will seek to correct identified issues or provide an accessible alternative.
6. Continuous improvement
Web accessibility is an ongoing process.
ARTEC Menorca progressively reviews the structure, content and functionality of the website with the aim of improving accessibility and the overall user experience.
The publication of this statement does not imply that an external accessibility certification or a complete audit of all website content has been carried out.
7. Reporting accessibility issues
If you experience any difficulty accessing information or using any website functionality, you may contact us, indicating, where possible, the specific page and the issue encountered.
